PERMACULTURE & SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES

Practical info on living in harmony with the earth, with workshops, permaculture garden, and information sharing. Permaculture Area is a beautiful chilled out space with a garden to relax in and inspire your senses.

There are workshops and talks running throughout the day in the yurt and outside, with interactive demonstrations such as building an earth oven, willow weaving , children crafts, food preserving, Permaculture, seed saving and pole lathing. The stalls have help and advice on all areas of sustainable living and technology, with books for sale and free information to take away back to your community. The hemp cafe has wonderful healthy food and drinks with live music and a solar powered cinema and there's even a bakery and felt-making workshop. So come and join in or just hang out and watch everyone else!

The Hempspace Cafe brings to Sunrise 2008 a new intimate stage situated in the Permaculture area. Fine food, great music, eclectic d.j’s, live bands and daytime workshops throughout the weekend. Confirmed acts include........ Circus of Sound, Jono Mccleery, Forcenra, No. 1 Station, Juilian Gaskell n’ the ragged trouser philanthorpist, Duncan and the nobodies, D.J Dub D- Jah Lion, Movement Sound System. Reading, D.J J T- Tesshuvah Hi Fi. Bristol.....plus resident D.J’s and more acts to be confirmed.
