Just imagine a Tipi or Yurt ready and waiting for your arrival at the Sunrise Celebration 2008. An exclusive camping area reserved for you and your friends, close enough to the entertainment, but a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the markets and stages.
Hearthworks are delighted to be providing the finest Tipis and Yurts for hire in the ‘Alternative Camping’ area of Sunrise Celebration 2008. This is sited up near the Woodhenge in 2008. The Alternative Camping Area includes reception staff to settle you in and a maintenance crew to make sure your Tipi or Yurt is looked after. Of course there are also full campsite facilities such as showers and toilets. All our Tipis and Yurts are handcrafted and installed to a high standard. The structures are complete with frames, canvas covers and flooring. This year we are providing all our Tipis with rain-catchers and waterproof groundsheets.
Treat yourself to our furnishings package which includes rugs, cushions, sheepskins, bolsters, low wooden table, lanterns, firedish/woodburning stove, and firetools.

Looking ahead to SUNRISE CELEBRATION this year, we arevery excited to be able to bringyouthis trulyunique alternative to traditional camping. Back for the second time at SUNRISE, a limited number of ‘podpads’will be available for hire. The ‘podpads village’ will be located in theLuxury Camping Area and suitable to sleep up to two adults. ‘Podpads’ were the talking point when they first appeared at Glastonbury ‘05 where they were voted “Best Place to Camp” by the NME. Nominated in the “Best Innovation” category in the UK Festival Awards in 2006 and “Highly commended” at the TESA Awards in 2007, ‘podpads’ are sure to be a big hit at SUNRISE CELEBRATION.
Eco-friendly, the ‘podpads’’ are solar-powered by the fabulous sunflower solar panels
Built from wood and measuring approx 8’ x 6’ (2.440 x 1.970m), the ‘podpad’ comes pre-decorated and with a groundsheet, a fitted carpet, shelving, interior lights, a mirror and a lock on the front door. Single, double or twin beds are optional extras for increased comfort, so creating useful storage space underneath. Three sliding tinted windows (with curtains) provide ventilation and light, allowing you to look out whilst restricting vision in. ‘Podpads’ are weatherproof, soundproof, secure, safe and cosy, dry in the wet & cool in the sun.
Your ‘podpad’ is built and furnished, ready for you when you arrive and when you leave, you simply return the keys and walk away, leaving it all behind you. Escape the hassles of finding camping space, erecting tents, flapping canvas, leaks and the inevitable take-down and trying to repack your tent into a bag, designed only to ever fit at the point of leaving the factory. This is the real luxury alternative to Eurohike camping.

This year, we will be making ‘podpads’ and ‘bellepads’ available at just £275, inclusive of tax,for the duration of the festival (Thurs - Mon).

Caravan Hire at Sunrise Celebration 2008
Caravans are perfect for giving you the comforts of home in a field. Those available will range from two to six berth, ideal for families, and will have the added option of an electric hook-up. All caravans are available at a cost of £350 for the duration of the event. All vans are of a good standard quality, dry and tidy, and will be parked in the Luxury Camping Area of the site. Arrivals will be greeted personally and provided a quick tour of the van and a welcome pack.
Due to health and safety standards the vans will not have gas fittings, however, batteries for power will be available for hire at £20 + a £20 refundable deposits. There will be a bond payable upon booking that will be refunded when keys are returned and the state of the van has been checked.
