Performance Art, Walk-About Performers and Non-Musical Presentations No festival is complete without the weird and the wonderful. Purveyors of those magical spontaneous moments, they walk the site in strange garb, offering tricks and glimpses of a world more colourful and more magical than the norm. As ever, the Sunrise site will be ablaze with performers and strange delights for the eye - from wandering minstrels, to sword- duelling cavaliers, stilt-walkers, fire dancers and poets. The beauty of festivals is the little bits of unexpected magic that await you around every corner. Expect the Unexpected!
Chimaera Circus
Chimaera Circus will be hosting a fire-spinning playground each night with safety and guidance for fire-twirling enthusiasts, and giving a showcase performance for your pleasure and amazement! During the daytime will be a selection of workshops in theatre games, circus skills and playful improvising: looking at the world around you with a sense of adventure and curiousity!
Astral Circus
Performing at the Sunrise Celebration for the second year running, Astral Circus will be performing an aray of walkabout characters including. 'Tarquin Farquar and Fanny the Flamingo' a huge stilt character that has been causing mischeif all over the UK and Europe. Astral will also be performing a number of static street theatre style shows over the weekend that include balence on a 4-ft ball, juggling, tightrope, comedy and lots of audience participation. He will also be creating some large balloon sculptures and we are not talking poodles here! www.astralcircus.com

Perciphone Petticoat - Tickling The Senses and Breaking The Silence Of Taboo.Performing on the Out of the Ordinary Stage, this is no ordinary show, watch Perciphone Petticoat morph into different characters, as she often flirts on a rather risqué edge, skilfully delivering pertinent subjects, accompanied by convincing sound-scapes.Perciphone performs a unique semi-acoustic forty-minute theatrical poetic set, incorporating ten sets of spoken-word, backing tracks, voices, characters and eleven costume changes, performed onstage as part of the show.Perciphone's shows highlight everyday issues plaguing our lives and provide an opportunity to examine our own ideas and feelings with a view to transcending them through discussion and workshops.www.perciphonepetticoat.co.uk
