Refunds Following The Cancellation of Sunrise 2008

Sunrise Celebration 2008 sold tickets through the following five official ticket agents: Bristol Ticket Shop, G-Tickets, Access All Areas, Changing World and the Sunrise Office

We realise that some attendees had a considerably less-than-satisfactory experience when they arrived on-site and can only apologise again for the unfortunate and unexpected series of events that followed the extreme weather.

We have been able to secure an alternative for our ticket buyers - the 'Sunrise @ Big Chill' Festival within a Festival and get to attend both(normal Big Chill tickets are £129 alone!). We do understand though, that some of you will not be able to or do not wish to redeem your ticket to take up this offer.

The following options at this point, for all ticket buyers who purchased from one of these ticket agents, are as follows:

  • Redeem your ticket for the 'Sunrise @ Big Chill' event. To do so, contact the ticket agent from whom you purchased your ticket and they will advise you as to the process. PLEASE NOTE: there will be a small charge for this to cover ticket agents administration. This should be around £2.50 though some ticket agents may charge up to £5.

  • Redeem your ticket for the Sunrise Celebration 2009 Festival. This applies as a straight swap, regardless of the comparative ticket price next year. Full details of how to redeem your ticket for Sunrise 2009 will be released in the coming weeks.

  • Ask your ticket agent for a partial refund of the full ticket price. You can choose this option to make a donation to Sunrise to ensure it's future.

    • Or if you do not wish to accept any of these alternatives:

  • Ask your ticket agent for a full refund (please note that our terms & conditions state a 10% administration fee is applicable - The refund value and this 10% fee is applied to the face value of the ticket only - not the price you paid including booking fees).

    • By accepting one of these alternatives, you will helping to ensure Sunrise's future (this event was set to be a sell out, and a beautiful, special event and we would dearly like it to continue!) and we would be extremely grateful for your help and understanding.

    We would also like to appreciate all of those attendees who have showered us with support, understanding and appreciation. Also, our ticket agents have adapted remarkably quickly to these difficult circumstances and we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to them too.
