SIGN UP FOR THE ECO-RANGERS

The Eco Rangers Team is a new addition to the Sunrise Celebration crew. Their major duties include:

1) Making sure that all environmental policies are being applied to by the letter. This means checking traders and crew have all the information they need about the environmental policies and what they should be doing. Then later on checking that they are doing them.
2) Encouraging new environmental initiatives such as our composting and recycling schemes. We need to make the public aware of what a difference it makes if they do these things. This means any of you performers out there get a chance to make a scene.
3) Measuring how sustainable the festival is (by filling questionnaires and check lists). This information will go directly towards a sustainability appraisal of the festival. We will see how sustainable we really are and where we can make yearly improvements. You will be approaching a wide range of people to get this information including the public, traders, crew and artists.

Eco Rangers will form part of an Environmental Emergency Team if required. (Please note - we are now full for Sunrise 2008)

THE COMPOST CREW
